Karen Hellawell
MCSP, Pg Cert, HPC Registered
Since qualifying from Bradford University in 1990 Karen has worked in the hospital, private and sporting sectors. Karen holds a post graduate certificate in manual therapy.
With 11 years experience working in professional rugby league Karen has toured with the national team. She currently provides physiotherapy services at a national level to elite juniors and also works with the Huddersfield Rugby Union FC.
Karen runs her own private practice and sports injury clinic which is based in West Yorkshire.

Jane Hodgson
MCSP, M.Sc., HPC Registered
Since qualifying from Sheffield Hallam University in 1990 Jane has worked extensively in private practice and hospital settings. She also teaches on the undergraduate physiotherapy course at Huddersfield University.
Jane specialises in treating back problems in her work for the National Health Service. Her sporting interests are running and mountaineering, giving her a keen interest in leg injuries.
Jane gained a M.Sc. from Sheffield Hallam University in Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2002.

Alison Whiteley
MCSP, PgCert, M.Sc., HPC Registered
Since qualifying from the Leeds Metropolitan University, Alison has worked extensively in hospital, sporting and private settings. Alison holds a post graduate certificate in sports physiotherapy and an M.Sc. in manual therapy.
Alison now runs her own physiotherapy and sports injury clinic. Alison has a special interest in treating cycling injuries: she has previously worked for British Cycling and accompanied the Great Britain Team at international races.

Virginia Whiteley
B.Sc. (Hons), MCSP, MSOM, HPC Registered
Virginia qualified from Bradford University and works both in private practice and as a Senior Physiotherapist for the National Health Service with an interest in lower limb injuries and rheumatology.
Virginia has a keen interest in the rehabilitation of dance injuries, working both with student and professional dancers and is listed on the medical practitioners' register with Dance UK.
Virginia is also a Certified Modified Pilates Instructor having undertaken training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute and runs classes for the general public and for dance students.

Scot McAllister
MCSP, B.Sc. (Hons), HPC Registered
Scot qualified from Huddersfield University in 1999 with a 1st in his physiotherapy degree, and has since worked in the hospital setting, in private practice and in sport.
Scot is currently physio for the Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Prior to that, Scot worked for Lancashire County Cricket Club for 2 years. As such he has a keen interest in cricketing, sporting and in particular shoulder injuries.
Scot also works at a private physiotherapy and sports injury clinic.

Dave Lomas
MCSP,SRP, B.Sc, PG cert LT, PG Cert ERG
After graduating from Sheffield Hallam University in 1991 Dave has worked in both the NHS and the private sectors. He specialises in neck and shoulder problems. Now a Senior Lecturer at Shefield Hallam University he is currently studying for a Masters in Ergonomics.
Away from work Dave's main interest is rock climbing. He has been climbing for twenty seven years and operated at the middle extreme grades when at the top of his game.
